Biden and Netanyahu Finally Catch Up
President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on the phone on Monday for the first time in weeks. The president warned Netanyahu against a major ground operation in Rafah, a city in the Gaza Strip, according to national security adviser Jake Sullivan. Netanyahu agreed to Biden’s invitation to send a team to the U.S. to discuss concerns about the invasion, Sullivan said.
