The Associated Press projected Trump and Biden victories early Tuesday night in their respective primaries. Trump’s victory is a major disappointment for Nikki Haley, his last remaining challenger in the Republican race, who had invested significantly in New Hampshire. Meanwhile, Biden beat out challengers Dean Phillips and Marianne Williamson on a write-in campaign after being left off the ballot due to a party scheduling dispute.

Fresh off ending his presidential campaign, DeSantis is not ruling out another run in 2028. But he’s not sounding very optimistic about the future. Quite the opposite: “Well, we’ll see if, what kind of – if we have a country left by 2028,” DeSantis tells conservative talk show host Steve Deace. “So, who knows?”

Nikki Haley wants an upset victory over Donald Trump, who has been splitting time between the campaign trail and the courtroom. With Ron DeSantis out of the race, Haley has had plenty of room to campaign hard in the state, but, as NOTUS reports, it’s not clear that she’s successfully sold her candidacy to voters looking for an alternative to Trump.

Republican hopeful Ron DeSantis announced on Sunday he’s quitting his bid for the presidency, just ahead of a New Hampshire primary where he was expected to fare poorly. “It’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance,” he said in a video message. With the New Hampshire primary only days away, the Florida governor is expected to leave the state later today to go to Florida and then campaign in South Carolina. His campaign is reportedly hoping he’ll gain more traction there than in New Hampshire — but he has to stick it out for more than a month to test that theory.
