The Democratic National Committee said Tuesday it “already” has its largest-ever organizing program in a nonelection year.

In a memo, first shared exclusively with NOTUS, Deputy Executive Director Libby Schneider said “more than 16,000 grassroots supporters across the country have already taken action with the DNC this year, spanning across all 50 states.”

The committee said those supporters have been involved in a number of ways, “from hosting events, to attending a training, to engaging their communities online and offline, and directly reaching out to hold their Republican representatives accountable.”

“That’s not just a number; it’s a signal to Republicans that voters are paying attention,” Schneider wrote.

The memo also says the DNC “is at work building the strongest organizing infrastructure the national party has ever had at this point in a non-presidential election year.”

The DNC is the first national party committee “doing direct voter contact organizing for the 2025 and 2026 elections,” Schneider said. The memo also points to Democratic overperformances throughout 2025 and wins including Wisconsin’s Supreme Court race in April and the Omaha, Nebraska, mayoral race last week.
