Previously at The Washington Post, he spent six years covering the District including four years on the D.C. City Hall beat. His work focused on enterprise and accountability reporting. He was part of a team of Post journalists awarded the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for coverage of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
