We still don’t know what’s in Donald Trump’s “memorandum of understanding” with Iran. But he and JD Vance have already put their John Hancocks on the document, electronically, the president told reporters today ahead of G7 summit meetings. The full text will be released “sometime after Friday.”

  • Oil prices dropped significantly today while stocks got a lift.

UFC CEO Dana White denounced fighter Josh Hokit’s comments calling Michelle Obama “a man” after last night’s UFC fight on the South Lawn, saying, “Everyone knows my position on free speech but I hate that kind of nonsense.”

The Senate will put an updated housing bill on the floor this week that includes provisions the House had previously stripped. A spokesperson for the House Financial Services Committee said the move “does not reflect an agreement” with the committee.

The Senate could vote as soon as Thursday to confirm Jay Clayton’s nomination for director of national intelligence, following the results of a Senate Intelligence hearing Wednesday.

THE COURTS

The Supreme Court will consider whether ICE detainees with criminal records can be held indefinitely while their pending deportation cases proceed.

The court will also decide whether states can use six-person juries in criminal cases, instead of the usual 12.
