Thomas is the former deputy Washington bureau chief & executive producer at NewsNation and previously a D.C. correspondent for The Salt Lake Tribune. He served as president of the National Press Club in 2016, chairman of the Congressional Standing Committee of Correspondents in 2011, and is the author of the book, “Mormon Rivals: The Romneys, The Huntsmans and the Pursuit of Power.” He graduated from Southern Utah University.
