Nikie is on the copy desk at NOTUS. She previously worked on the live editing desk at The Washington Post, and before that worked at The Press-Enterprise/Southern California News Group in roles including copy editor, breaking news editor and data reporter. She started her career at The Times-Union in Jacksonville, Florida, after graduating from the University of Houston.
