Marina Koren is a freelance journalist based in Washington. She was previously a staff writer at The Atlantic, where she wrote about space science, exploration and policy. She has reported from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, SpaceX’s Starbase in Texas, and the European Space Agency’s spaceport in French Guiana.
