George Cahlink is deputy Congress editor for NOTUS.
George has spent more than 20 years covering Capitol Hill as an editor and reporter. Most recently, he led a team of congressional reporters for Bloomberg Government. He also has reported on Congress for Politico’s E&E News and CQ Roll Call, where he was founding editor of the legislative news service CongressNow.
Early in his career, George was a defense reporter and did reporting stints in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and Kosovo. He got his start as a local news reporter in New Hampshire.
