THE LATEST

Donald Trump bashed Iran during a Cabinet meeting at Camp David today, calling the country “dishonorable.” But he also blamed a cyberattack on dozens of Minnesota community water systems on Democratic Gov. Tim Walz — not Iran, as U.S. officials suspect.

The “anti-weaponization” fund is still alive, Trump suggested in a Truth Social post today. The president lamented that “perhaps there has never been a group of people treated so badly in our nation’s history” as the Jan. 6 rioters, and he reaffirmed they should be “paid back.”

• Sen. Thom Tillis (R-North Carolina) said Trump’s post “is exactly why we are attempting to formally end” the fund. He and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) are still working with Todd Blanche: “It’s a shame his confirmation has hit a snag only because an incompetent personal advisor to the President refuses to amend the bogus settlement.”

THE ADMINISTRATION

The Trump administration plans to cut Arizona, California and Nevada’s water usage as Colorado River levels drop to historic lows.

Carlos Cordeiro, senior adviser to both Gianni Infantino and the White House World Cup task force, resigned in protest of the FIFA president’s plan to partially privatize the marquee international tournament.

• The former Goldman Sachs executive said he had no involvement in the proposal and that FIFA’s “responsibility is not to maximise commercial returns at any cost.”

Markwayne Mullin’s attempt to cancel the July 4 National Mall celebration over weather concerns in D.C. at the time infuriated Trump, The Free Press reports.

THE HILL

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland), the Judiciary Committee’s top Democrat, announced a new probe into Trump Media’s plan to start charging for early access to the president’s Truth Social posts, which is set to launch tomorrow.

Former Rep. George Santos settled a case with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission today after he bet on his own attendance to Trump’s State of the Union address earlier this year.

• He’ll have to pay a $17,500 fine and repay the $17,569.98 he made on the bet, the CFTC announced. He also is barred from trading on prediction markets for three years.

THE STATES

Rodric Bray, thea top Republican state senator in Indiana, said he would not seek reelection as the chamber’s president pro tempore after Trump threatened to primary anyone who supported his bid. He will keep his position as a rank-and-file member of the state Senate.

• Bray incurred the president’s wrath last year when he helped block a White House-led redistricting push in the state.

• “Better yet would be if he would resign from Office, completely,” Trump said in a good-riddance post on Truth Social.

New York Attorney General Letitia James sued Kalshi in state court, alleging the company runs an “illegal gambling operation” without proper licenses.
