Deirdre was a co-recipient of the the National Press Foundation’s Dirksen award for distinguished reporting of Congress and the Radio and Television Correspondents’ Association’s Joan Shorenstein Barone award for congressional/political affairs.
Deirdre grew up in various states across the country as an Army brat and studied Political Science and Communications at Boston College.
